<p align="left"><span>We also think he is quite a daydreamer as he likes to just look at people who come to visit him with his big gentle eyes – he sort of lies down and rests his chin on his clenched fists and just watches us, watching him.</span></p>
<p align="left"><a href="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2010/05/dsc01670.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7" src="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2010/05/dsc01670.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p align="left"><span> We can always pick him out easily in the family because he has lots of moles – like little lumps – on his face. There is nothing wrong with the lumps and they don’t seem to bother him.</span></p>
<p align="left"><a href="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2010/05/dsc01649.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-8" src="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2010/05/dsc01649.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p align="left"><span>He is often with <a href="http://lubutu.gorillacd.org" target="_blank">Lubutu</a> and he also likes to play a lot with <a href="http://gato.gorillacd.org" target="_blank">Gato</a>. He is afraid of no one – and he is on the point of becoming of a Silverback, any day!</span></p>
<p align="left"><a href="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2008/12/nyakamwes-nostrils.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6" src="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2008/12/nyakamwes-nostrils.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p align="left"><em>Nyakamwe&#8217;s nostrils<br />
</em></p>
<p align="left"><span>Nyakamwe was the name of a Ranger who died who worked at Rwindi station in the centre of Virunga National Park. </span></p>
<p align="left"><a href="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2010/05/dsc01663-1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-9" src="http://nyakamwe.gorillacd.org/files/2010/05/dsc01663-1.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="282" /></a></p>
<p align="left"><span>He was one of the bravest Rangers who has ever worked in Virunga, and he died of illness. We named this gorilla after him so as not to forget his courage.</span></p>
